Privacy Statement

The NHS is committed to respecting the privacy of individuals using this website. The site does not collect any personal information about those using the site, or use cookies to track or log information about users. We do analyse the server log files which contain details of the Internet address (IP address) of computers using the site, pages looked at, the times of day and the type of web browser used. None of this information is linked to individuals. All feedback to the site made via the feedback form is treated in the strictest confidence.

Information collection and use

GOLD/Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children does not store or collect any personal information about site users. Only the minimum required personal information about users with an e-Learning account is stored in the Learning Management System.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive while they are visiting a particular website. It contains simple information about the user's identity but no personal information. When the user closes their browser, the cookie is destroyed.

Log files

We use our records of the pages users have visited on www.goshgold.org  to analyse trends, administer the site and track users movements.

Notification of changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect and how we use it.
